Guys like this give me a twinkle of hope and might actually earn my viewership dollars and time to see them play because they turn out to be down to earth guys. Get this, a high schooler gets a 2 MILION DOLLAR signing bonus (meaning he most likely doesn’t even have to start or perform well for his first season and he is still paid) and chooses to live out of his near 30 year old VW vanawagon. I want to hang out with this dude, because he seems chill af.

seriously though, save all that 2 million and in 5-20 years (whenever his pro career is over) he’ll have been paid for not spending money.
